Hampshire and Yorkshire Fire & Rescue services re-affirm commitment to Imass.

Both Hampshire and Yorkshire Fire & Rescue services have recently selected different Imass software solutions to enhance their existing systems.

Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service selected Imass Hydra software in order to manage their stock of 50,000 fire hydrants across the county. Hydra will also have the capability to manage the location and status of emergency water supplies such as ponds, streams and swimming pools. In addition to the office based Hydra DIS/GIS Hampshire will also deploy the Field Information System - FIS to enable its Hydrant Inspectors the ability to manage and complete their inspections in the field utilising the GIS enabled application installed on Laptops and synchronising the results with the office based DIS and GIS.

West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service chose to enhance their mobile data solution with the procurement of Imass Operational Information System - OIS Incident Command module.

The system will be deployed on strategic vehicles in order to deliver enhanced capability to record and display resource locations, mark-up and display operational information, redline and mark-up the incident on the ground in addition to retrieving operational risk data including Chemdata, Autodata and brigade standard operating procedures.
