Contract
Imass has been awarded a contract by Surrey Police to upgrade its existing
gazetteer management system to the Imass Central Management System. The
CMS is based on the MapInfo GIS platform. The contract also includes data
synchronisation with the Surrey Police Command and Control system.

Brown, Applications Support Manager for Surrey Police
stated, "We have selected Imass to upgrade our
corporate gazetteer due to their in-depth understanding of
our requirements, their ability to deliver as shown on the
original gazetteer project and their ability to work with
other suppliers to integrate the gazetteer data with
legacy systems."
