Project
Management
Our
approach to business is project based. For any given
project, technical and managerial resources will be drawn
from different groups within Imass. We have adopted
PRINCE2 as our primary project management approach, which
demands a range of project skills such as project
management, stage managements, technical assurance and
quality control. PRINCE
was first developed by the Central Computer and
Telecommunications Agency (CCTA) in 1989 as a UK Government
standard for IT project management and has become widely
used in both the public and private sector. We are
however, adaptable to our clients' needs and are ready to
adopt other methods should a client wish. Technology
strategies Since
the arrival of competition in the electricity industry, the
days of discretionary spending on IT are over. IT must
deliver essential benefits. Imass'
experience gained from over a decade of working with over 30
utility companies enables us to create strategies and
architectures for pressing problems without the need for
major IT investment. We have people who understand the
industry and work with clients to build solutions based on
the key elements in the chain from technology to benefits.
